In 2013 the first National Cyber Security Forum will be launched by Venture Cyber Security, which will be a membership organisation for all companies large and small and consultants/individuals who have an interest in cyber security.
Lisa Ventura, CEO of Venture Cyber Security Ltd, was formerly the Vice-President of Titania Ltd, a cyber-security software development company. During the 3 years she was there Lisa built the company from a tiny start up to a thriving SME with offices in County House and a team of 11 dedicated members of staff.
Speaking at the launch event, Robin Walker MP said: “It is very exciting to be at the start of this new business in cyber security on the day it was announced that the UK is starting to recover from the recession. There are over 1000 attempted cyber security attacks every hour made against businesses in the UK, so this is an area that we cannot afford to ignore.”
